Happy Thanksgiving friends! I’m beyond blessed and unfortunately sometimes I forget that until this time of year rolls around.
Since starting back up blogging around mid October and really giving this a go I’ve had over 2,000 views and around 1,000 visitors to my little space in the vastness that is the internet and it is blowing me away! So for those of you taking the time to read this or any of my other posts, I am thankful for you. I can’t wait to see how this blog and myself continue to grow!
This is diy is so simple I almost feel silly posting it. It’s also nothing new, I feel like you could consider this a #throwbackthursday of Pinterest. It seems like there is a handful of projects I specifically remember the first time I logged into Pinterest, this is definitely one of them. But sometimes it nice to do something simple and east yet still beautiful!
We all want to feel known. We want our family and friends to know our likes and dislikes and our ins and outs and for them to just “get” us. Every single person wants to feel known, no one is immune to it.
I have a love for quotes. I also have a love for displaying them in my house. And while I love to make printables I just don’t always have the time or energy to make one for every quote I happen to love. It’s just not practical. The solution to my problem? A diy faux framed chalkboard. I can easily swap out quotes as my heart pleases or tailor it to fit the current season or holiday!
Y’all I’m so stinkin’ excited!!! This is my first tablescape EVER! We have a small kitchen table (that is just asking for a paint job) and we go to my parent’s house for Thanksgiving so I kind of thought why bother? But it was something I really want to do, so to heck with it I’m decorating my table even if it’s only us that gets to enjoy it! So here’s my farmhouse Thanksgiving tablescape:
Halloween is officially over which means I can now listen to Christmas music without shame (and if you still think it’s too early I’m sorry but it’s who I am and I can’t change)!!! One of the best things about the holidays is of course the food! My momma’s Chex mix is one of my all-time favorites, just the smell floods my mind with all kinds of childhood memories! Seriously no summer or holiday season was without this Chex Mix y’all, it’s a family favorite that I hope to pass along with my kids one day!
