It’s fall y’all! Christmas is my favorite holiday but fall is my favorite season by far. The leaves are falling and autumn is calling. And I’m completely in love with this let’s get cozy free printable I made for my sweet readers!
I think we can all agree Netflix is a great invention (hello Friends reruns any time I want)! Not just for adults but kids too, have you seen what’s on there? So many of my childhood favorites, Jem and the Holograms and Magic School Bus among several classic movies as well! Don’t lie, you know you got excited in elementary school when the teacher showed an episode of Ms. Frizzle and her adventurous class!
Have you ever heard that the word love is overused and therefore it looses a little bit of its significance? Saying I love a top I just bought dulls the word a bit when I say I love my husband. While I truly do love my husband I can’t say I truly “love” the top but I do like it a lot. I think the same goes a bit for the word thank you. Sometimes it just gets toss out there. Continue reading
I can’t believe it’s officially summer! While fall truly has my heart I’ve never been so excited about summer as I have this year! My husband is finally back home from deployment, praise the Lord! So of course this summer is an extra special one for us but there is a sweetness about summertime.
While I was nesting and preparing for Cora Beth I got a little diy crazy! But in my swollen, exhausted pregnant self I had NO energy to blog so I’m finally getting around to sharing the smaller details of her nursery! While most of Cora Beth’s clothes are kept in her dresser I keep her nicer outfits in her closet! And I wanted some dividers to help separate the sizes but I didn’t want to buy any so I created these printable nursery closet dividers! The floral ones were made to go with Cora Beth’s floral nursery but I didn’t want to forget the boy mamas! Fingers crossed I’ll get to use the boy ones one day!
Have you ever seen the meme on Facebook that says “when your mom deserves an island but you can afford a candle”? It makes me giggle but it’s SO true! Moms really are the best! I don’t feel like there’s anything I could do to show my mom just how much she means to me. I made this free printable Mother’s Day card so that maybe you can put your $5 toward a gift instead of a card (why are they so expensive now?) for your awesome mom!
I am a homebody by nature. Anyone else? When I was working each morning I remember I wanted nothing more than to be able to stay home and sleep in! Now that I’m a stay at home mom and get to (well not sleep in but stay home) I find myself wanting so badly to leave the house some days. I’m more than grateful that I get to stay home and since leaving the house takes as much effort as moving a mountain these days we often do! Isn’t funny though how it works, you always want what you don’t have!
This warm spring weather has me making all the heart eyes at the flowers for sale outside home improvement and grocery stores. I’m normally such a fall and winter person but within days of having Cora Beth in November I was wishing for warmer weather! Being cooped up inside with a newborn can make you a little stir crazy, I just wanted to go to the grocery store without having to dress us both in a million layers!
It’s the last day of September and it’s finally starting to feel like fall in middle Tennessee. Although, I won’t hold my breath as the temperature is likely to spike back up. Also at the end of this post I have some free fall printables for you!
In July we hopped on the trend train and had a gender reveal party! Some people think they’re over done now but I think they’re fun! We also had a dual purpose with ours as it was also an opportunity for family and friends to give their well wishes to my husband before he left to serve our country, which is how our patriotic gender reveal got its theme! Continue reading
