I’m really looking forward to Easter this year! I guess because it’s Cora Beth’s first Easter (her Easter basket is SO cute!). On a recent Target trip I was looking through the dollar bins when I saw the cutest linen napkins and knew I had to have them! Can anyone resist those bins? If you can please tell me your secret!!! Before I knew it the napkins, some eggs and few other items were in my cart and my idea for this simple Easter tablescape was coming together!
Even though we don’t host any holidays at our house I thought I’d simple Easter tablescape. Seasonal decorating isn’t something I do often because there’s still so much regular decorating I’m focusing on in my house but every now and then it’s fun to do! Plus I’ll take any excuse to buy fresh flowers!
The napkins and the eggs are from target (cost was $9, score!). If you want some of your own I actually bought the garland and removed the string because I got more eggs for less that way!
The vase is from Ikea and I bought some fresh flowers from the grocery store! I had no idea where the little salt and pepper shakers are from, my mom has a whole box of them but they’re super cute!
And to just add little more greenery I simply snipped some boxwood branches and arranged them in a wreath on the plate!
And of course I had to change out my faux chalkboard for the occasion! I can’t wait for Cora Beth to be old enough to hear the story of Easter. I’m extra thankful for the physical life He gives this year in our sweet baby girl but when He gives her new life through the belief in Him, that will be the best day!
I did say it was simple but it’s such a cheerful little spot now and I smile when I look at it! I may just need to invite some friends over now (anyone want to come over for brunch?)!
I hope you and your family have a wonderful Easter!
