Ahh the day of feasting is upon us! My family actually had our Thanksgiving on Sunday so that my brother and sister-in-law could there so today we’re celebrating with the small part of Garrett’s family that still lives here in TN. While it’s not what we’re used to I’m kind of loving it! We’re not pressed for time so we can enjoy the full experience with both sides and we get to eat everything at both meals! No more missing out so we can still eat at the other family’s house!
I still can’t believe how quickly this year has gone by! This year me and Garrett have SO much to be thankful for that it’s almost overwhelming! A new pup, a roof over our heads (that we’re able to afford a roof over heads), food on the table, the love from our Savior and the list goes on and on! While day to day life can be stressful at times the bigger picture humbles me to my knees! And if you’re reading this right now I’m especially thankful for you! The love this blog has already received makes me want to cry! And I hope that it’ll continue to grow!
“In everything give thanks to The Lord” 1 Thessalonians 5:18
I hope your day is blessed and that you reflect on all the wonderful things in your life and most importantly I hope you give thanks to The Lord from whom all blessings flow.
Now get to feasting! I need to go cook a green bean casserole!
