Well I definitely thought two things about this recipe: 1) that it was a family recipe and 2) that I had been eating it at every Thanksgiving for my whole life. I was wrong about both! It is a Paula Deen recipe and we’ve only been eating it since 2006 (but apparently it’s so good that it transformed my memories).
This might be the easiest thing I’ve ever done! What was intended to be a short trip into Michael’s ended up being an inspiration station to make these super cute diy wrapping paper vases!
I had been wanting a cuter way to display my pencils, pens, and brushes on our desk and had thrown around a few ideas when I came across some clear little vases that were about $2.49 each if I’m remembering correctly.
Well, I did it.
I finally made a blog after years of imagining it and never being able to find the right resources (until now), it has actually happened! My hope is for this to be a place where I can share bits of my life but mostly how I try to make my house pretty, crafts I’m brave enough to make, recipes I’m courageous enough to try (and my husband to taste), my little pup, and maybe some clothing/fashion interests. We shall see where this little blog seed goes and I pray it grows into a fruitful tree!
