I always loved having a Christmas tree in my room as a kid. There’s just something about falling asleep to the glow of a Christmas tree. So, I knew I wanted to put one up in CB’s room this year! Even though she doesn’t sleep in her nursery, ha! But we’re working on it and she’s started napping in there at least. And, of course for my girl’s nursery Christmas decor I just had to go with a pink and red theme with a nod to Santa’s reindeer and toys!

I just love how her little tree turned out! The tree itself is just a cheap one from Dollar General, I did string an extra set of lights on it. And the bucket it’s in is from Hobby Lobby. My favorite part of the tree? The pink and red ornaments. I used to put them on the tree in my bedroom when I was in high school! Back when I use to decorate that tree never did I think that I’d be putting them in my baby girl’s room for her nursery Christmas decor.
I swapped out the quilt I usually keep on the back of the recliner for a more festive one (that one is from Target a few years ago but I found a similar one here). And gave her deer head an updated holiday look! I hot glue flowers or in this case a wreath pick to a piece of cardstock and then hot glue that to the deer head. It makes it easier to switch them out whenever I like! Figuring the reindeers’ names would be perfect in this spot lead me to create a printable. You can grab one for yourself at the end of the post!
Not a whole lot going on in her crib but I did get this adorable Christmas Bulb swaddle blanket for her to sleep with! And her Cuddle & Kind dolls hanging out. I put a little ceramic house and tree on top of her bookcase for a little holiday cheer in that corner as well!
Here’s what the printable looks like close up! I made it in black as well. Also I realize in the photo of the print in the frame Prancer is missing the E, but I fixed it before uploading it to the library! It’s certainly not the first time done that!
